Talk:Eggs Beetletun
Recipe has been renamed[edit]
The recipe for this is still called Eggs Beetletun but once you learn it it appears as Beetletun Omelette and is a completely different recipe/consumable so I made a new article for it and changed the recipe name in the wiki to lead to the new article. Sent a bug report about the name but it's pretty minor. Don't know how to mark this as old/unused? - nian 17:18, 1 September 2012 (UTC)
- Category:Historical_content. Tried to fix it some. Don't know how to make another top bar that tells of the info you said. Previously Unsigned 00:23, 12 September 2012 (UTC)
- The recipe has not, as yet, been renamed, and I came to this page expecting there to be an associated food item. If there are no objections in the next week, I will add a brief blurb about the spelling mistake on the recipe item, how this wiki treats it as if it is [[Recipe: Beetletun Omelette]], and a link to the correct Beetletun Omelette.Thorn17 01:49, 2 January 2013 (UTC)
This is a lot like...[edit]
Eggs Benedict. Maybe its a noteworthy trivia entry? Yumiko ^,~ 14:19, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
- I don't think so. An accurate note would read, "Eggs Benedict is a dish that consists of two halves of an English muffin, topped with ham or bacon, poached eggs and Hollandaise sauce; this food also has an egg (although its preparation is unspecified), but uses ordinary bread, no sauce, and no meat." The naming convention of
[Food] [Adjectival Noun]
is fairly common and pre-dates that for Eggs Benedict. So, while I think the naming is a tad more than coincidental, the parallel fails any relevancy and notability tests. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 14:45, 15 May 2012 (UTC)
Soulbound[edit]
When I created this item the result was always soulbound. It was also refered to as generic rather than food and the description contained a typo. As I am not sure if this was a bug for only me, I will leave this off the main page until it is confirmed. Simooshy 16:42, 12 June 2012 (UTC)
