- Honestly can't disagree. Static Field is just annoying. He's very similar to the Sovereign Eye of Zhaitan - not actually hard, just has tons and tons of health with silly mechanics to slow you down. Anet cut the Eye's HP significantly in a previous patch; it would be much appreciated for this boss too, if they aren't going to make him actually hard/fun to fight. 71.204.175.10 09:16, 27 October 2012 (PDT)
- I fully agree with this boss >> I spent at least 70% of the fight stunned. The NPC's did all the fighting, I could barely do a thing to help. Just wanted to voice how utterly frustrating this fight was. Speculation on who the guy was in life[edit]
Someone reverted my speculation on the main page within minutes of my posting it - and the point he made was fair, so I'll put my speculation here.
If I had to guess, in spite of his humanoid wraith appearance, the name and location where he appears/operates would suggest that was was a dwarf in life, who died before the Rite of the Great Dwarf was completed. Much like how the Risen version of Ferghen can still use his marksmanship and tracking skills in the service of Zhaitan, this guy can use elements-related skills that are not granted by the Elder Dragon of the undead, which also suggests he was a magic-wielding elementalist in life.Taegun Stormwalker (talk) 00:54, 2 December 2017 (UTC)
