So its not really him, its a statue of him O.o? --Angelkiss 13:37, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
- Also, I think we see him in the last trailer, huge statue, blue ghostly flames, roaring.. Typical. -- Cyan 13:42, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
- Random shot in the dark here, I'd say it's his ghost possessing the statue on his tomb --zeeZ (talk) 13:43, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
- maybe or duke put all his powers in the statue so he could die lmao --Angelkiss 14:06, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
- that's like almost the same --The Holy Dragons 14:08, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
- Is it acceptable to have the page about Duke Barradin only mention the statue of him? I realize this isn't the place for GW1 lore, but should the page carry his name when it isn't him? - 23:01, 17 August 2011 (UTC)
- The videos from Gamescom show that the mini-boss is just called "Duke Barradin" in the demo, so the naming is correct to me. Chriskang 23:08, 17 August 2011 (UTC)

(Reset indent) If I'm not mistaken, this quest takes place in a zone that was affected by the Foefire, so it is probably Duke Barradin himself possessing the statue. 71.30.186.254 04:42, 25 August 2011 (UTC)
- "Once defeated in ghost form, Barradin takes possession of a large statue." These ghosts are able to, well... move like any other creature. How else you figure King Adelbern got to Ascalon Catacombs after invoking the Foefire in Ascalon City? :) I'd believe they hold all/most of Ascalon as their domain, and appear outside their... original haunted grounds, where they died. - According to Ghosts of Ascalon the ghosts haunt all of Ascalon, there are just more of them in Ascalon City. Ramei Arashi 14:52, 22 October 2011 (UTC)
"He is the Ghost of Duke Barradin in the Guild Wars Prophecies Tutorial"[edit]
He's also in Piken Squre in post-searing and survives to the end of the Prophecies campaign at least (to congratulate the player). I don't find the existing comment thorough and/or particularly interesting as it sits. 24.13.43.231 03:40, 3 March 2012 (UTC)
