Accidental Deletion[edit]
Is anyone aware of the process necessary to obtain a replacement after the holiday season if accidentally deleted? This potential problem extends further than the "free" items but to all the items purchased from the gem store. I realize keeping it in storage is another option, but that's hardly ideal.Flycken 12:15, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- Yep, you're right, it's a common "problem" to all Gem Store items. You just have to be careful not to delete the things you spent a lot of gems on, just like in real life you have to be careful not to have an accident with that car you spent a lot of money on. —Dr Ishmael 13:08, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- OK, I'll concede in part the point about being careful, although drawing parallels between digital purchases and real purchases is hardly appropriate, I should think that if you purchase a subscription to netflix (for example) and lose your password, netflix is not going to tell you "sorry" we can't do anything for you, same goes with purchases of online games, if you delete your email containing your key code Arena net is not going to tell you to go home and cry. Digital purchases have no real value except to the user and should be easily replaceable. And you ignored my 2nd issue (that of the insufficient storage) entirely, but hey, you got your point across eh?Flycken 22:28, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
- Well, storage expansions are also conveniently purchased with gems. Vili 点 23:01, 24 October 2012 (UTC)
