I believe this event was replaced by Defeat the undead abomination. This event was in at least as far as BWE3.

The abomination, in contrast, usually emerges onto land to make it more accessible since sylvari characters often won't have developed their underwater skills at this point. Madned 16:48, 3 September 2012 (UTC)

I remember doing this once in BWE3 and have spent a lot of time in this area waiting for the crab to spawn since release, trying to trigger it. I thought it was after the abomination but it never spawns. So is it completely removed from the game?
