A very common scenario with this guy is to get him down to 80%, he petrifies and heals up a few percent until the party can break his defiance, and then this repeats until the party gives up or time runs out - keep bringing him down to 80, then he keeps healing back to above 80. Counterintuitively, it seems that he's easier to defeat with a small group (around 5) than with a larger group (20-30). Maybe his defiance scales with the size of the group, so a smaller group can bring it down more quickly? At any rate, don't even bother with this champion unless your party can deal a lot of cc. - Brian Kendig (talk) 21:02, 18 November 2017 (UTC)
- It seems the issue is that as soon as his defiance bar is broken and it heals itself that people do not dish out enough DPS to bring it down beyond the latest defiance bar spawn threshold. I just had a group of 10 or so people, and we brought it down to 60% triggering the defiance bar, it healed itself to like 65%, we broke the bar, but it came back to at around 62% or so and thus immediately spawned it again. But I only fought it like twice or thrice now so I can't be sure. More info and possible walkthrough would be welcomed because this is quite an annoying bounty. --Serecas (talk) 04:45, 21 May 2018 (UTC)
