Talk:Birthday Vendor
Requirement: Account Age Only or Character Age?[edit]
I added a verification request to double-check the following:
Does the character speaking to the NPC have to be at least one year of age? Or will the +title dialogue trigger as long as the account is one-year old and regardless of character age?
Admittedly, it's not the most critical of questions, but if it is both character+account, better to be prepared to reduce the confusion of the masses. – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:15, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
- Traditionally, birthdays are bound to the character, not the account. My evidence is that my characters received the Birthday Gift at different points in time, which makes sense due to the different time I made them. Going to check with a young character and see what she says. --Vaught (talk) 16:34, 13 August 2014 (UTC)
- The reason I asked is that once you get the title, it no longer matters which character you send; you can only get the option once per account. So, what we really need is a veteran player who has a new character they can send, but hasn't yet gotten the achievement on their account. (Perhaps that's what you meant.) – Tennessee Ernie Ford (TEF) 16:47, 13 August 2014 (UTC)

From the latest changes, it seems characters unlock a separate achievement track/title per year (from a single dialogue option), and some unique rewards are also being added to the dialogue tree. 50.131.101.150 16:44, 25 August 2014 (UTC)
