Reference to...[edit]
The first thing that came to mind was Marshawn Lynch, but I'm not sure if there is an older beastmode reference that this would instead refer to as well. Nerds, squad up! Lysander (talk) 19:28, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
- Doctor ref here, the mechanic is likely based on Wild Shape for Druids in D&D or Shapeshift for Druids from WoW. And then more likely D&D with it's mechanical inspiration coming from version 3 (allowed to have a pet and shapeshift) but thematically inspired by the Druid split from newest 5 edition where D&D Druids could either specialise in Natural Magics with the circle of the land (This Druid has attacks that are extremely similar to our Druid)) or specialise into Shapeshifting with the circle of the moon (Where likely this spec is based on). As of the name, it's likely based on Beast Wars: Transformers from 1996 , and then specifically on this quote for when they tranform. Thou it could just as well be based on Marshawn since talking about rugby to us europeans is as talking about the outside world to someone in Socratese's cave... --Doctor Refrence (talk) 20:21, 4 August 2017 (UTC)
- I also thought of various Beastmode named things not mentioned above, so I think there are too many references to just pick one for sure. Who knows, maybe it's simply named for what the skill does heh. - Doodleplex 20:30, 4 August 2017 (UTC)

- I've wanted to do it for a while, but I thought the various transform statements were identical. The chart was never fully filled out, but I suppose no one has any evidence that there's a difference in what the various race/gender mixes say. --Rognik (talk) 09:50, 30 July 2018 (UTC)
Feedback 2017/08/18[edit]
I have no idea how to go about editing tables otherwise I'd do it myself, but I think the Character Quotes section should be divided into columns for merging/unmerging rather than gender, since it seems male and female characters say the same things. :O
- Until the table confirms that they're all the same, it should be kept separate. There have been chatter text before that is only the same for certain races between sexes, or it's only different between sex, not race. --Rain Spell (talk) 21:42, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
- I don't think that Template:Character quote supports merged columns at the current time but it probably should since many are the same for many quotes, e.g. on the Revenant. ~ Fishrock (talk) 21:45, 18 August 2017 (UTC)
Quotes when separating[edit]
There is also dialogue when your character separates from their pet, whether deliberately or forcibly (Eternal Bond). On Female Asura, one of them that I can recall at this time is "One becomes two." ('!' ?) I don't know how this should be added, throw in another table? expand the existing table? Maybe someone else can set it up and others can add more chatter. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by Kiega123456789ooo (talk • contribs) at 23:05, September 29, 2017 (UTC).
- Those are actually tied to the Leave Beastmode skill, and as such are tabled in that page. ~ Fishrock (talk) 00:08, 30 September 2017 (UTC)
