Talk:Barrage
This looks like it could be a ground targeting skill. Anyone agree? Venom20 20:18, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- ... Either that or its just one arrow and all those characters have crappy aim.--Neil • 20:20, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- It's a fair assumption considering the video, but shouldn't be put on the page due to being speculation and no solid evidence for it. I do however think it will be ground targeted. --Odal talk 20:20, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- I agree, pure speculation. Also, I hope that in regards to accuracy, that there are no need to put points into something "like a traditional RPG", to increase hit chance. Venom20 20:25, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- Yeah, it seems that spread shot is the old Barrage, and Barrage is now Firestorm for bows. Fitting, seeing as bows are now more AoE-oriented. I also thought ground-targeted, especially since we also know other bow attacks are ground-targeted. -~=Ϛρѧякγ (τѧιк) 21:05, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- How amazingly awesome would this version of Barrage be with a "Splinter Weapon"-esque skill. Explosive arrow storm of DOOM! Aquadrizzt Main Page Designer 23:27, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- And what if you then did it through a firewall? Explosive flaming storm of stormy storm-storming arrowness. For. The. Win. Zolann The Irreverent 15:55, 15 July 2010 (UTC)

Longbow[edit]
How do we know its a longbow skill, couldn't it just as well be a shortbow skill? Aquadrizzt Main Page Designer 23:16, 14 July 2010 (UTC)
- Logic - which is not relevant at all - disctates you would release a barrage of arrows from the distance as opposed to using a shortbow and hitting yourself in the eye. A F K When Needed 23:35, 14 July 2010 (UTC)

skill lock visual bug?[edit]
Anyone else getting a visual bug where Barrage appears to be locked, but still works? Or does the gray outline with the little padlock mean something else? I have this problem on a level 16 ranger - I think I hotswapped pets mid-barrage, and since then it has the gray skill lock border, but the skill still works normally (not sure if the damage is the same, though). I'm just wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and how to fix it. It's really irritating, especially when I'm still trying to figure out how the game works. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 174.63.125.240 (talk) at 03:55, 29 August 2012 (UTC).
Please Someone Who Knows This Topic, Please Update[edit]
There are so many entries like this one where the only information is conjecture by beta testers. What does it say about the community that the game has been out for 8 months and so far there has been no interest in filling in the blanks on skill entries like this one?
I don't really know if this is a ground targeted skill, as I use the combat mode mod and things just generally go where I have the targeting cursor pointed. User:JonJonz March 5, 2013.
- there's mods? there's is a specific setting inside gw2 that lets people just cast AoE instantly wherever targeted. it may be a faction of a second to key press and button click where cursor is already at desired location but its nicer to know that you're in control, and in this case be able to tell that its a ground target. 67.233.98.18 23:44, 5 March 2013 (UTC)
Adding the skill coefficient to the page[edit]
I removed the note about the damage formula at lvl 80 since I'm adding the skill coefficient to the page. Also, it's not Attack * a number, the attack stat is arbitrary in calculating the damage of an attack. Check out Damage to see how damage is calculated. Thanks :D Habar414 03:24, 17 March 2013 (UTC)
