Stat-choices[edit]
Ok, so after a bit of confusion, I think I understand a bit. It seems like every single item/armor piece has 2 versions of itself, one with and one without HoT stats. Presumably this would be the armor pieces available to players with or without HoT.
How exactly do we want to label this? Maybe just a disclaimer above the available stats table saying "HoT stats for HoT owners only"? -Darqam 18:46, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
- Works for me. - Doodleplex 18:48, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
- Same holds for Mist Talisman apparently, so presumably Mist Pendant as well, but that last one doesn't have non-HoT in the api yet. -Darqam 18:52, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
- Sounds good, but I presume the item description changes too? -Chieftain Alex 18:54, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
- The non-HoT versions becomes "| description = Central Tyrian Ascended Armguards" instead of "| description = Central Tyrian and Maguuma Ascended Shoulderguards". Also, the Talisman has a different icon for HoT and non-HoT because... someone at anet forgot? HoT icon, non-HoT icon.
- Well, I'll add that notice (via bot) in a few moments, and will probably add an anomaly notice to the talisman about the icon swap. Thanks for the input. -Darqam 19:00, 14 December 2016 (UTC)
Do items from this collection count towards the Ascended Accoutrement achievement?[edit]

- I don't think so. That achievement is a collection of specific skins and this armor has its own different skins. -Azurem (talk) 13:28, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
- They do not count for the Ascended Accoutrement achievement. However, with the latest patch the armour pieces may now be stat swapped in the mystic forge and this will yield the corresponding piece of Illustrious armor which does count for the achievement. I am not sure if this is a bug and that perhaps it should keep the same skin instead; nonetheless I have updated the page with this new information. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 124.169.23.84 (talk) at 03:05, 23 February 2017 (UTC).
- When you stat swap in the mystic forge you effectively destroy your current item and receive a brand new, selected one. Having a different skin is completely expected and natural. If you want the same skin, you'll just need to make use of the transmutation charges. That I know of, there is mystic forge recipe at all that does not operate through item destruction->creation. -Darqam 05:33, 23 February 2017 (UTC)
Do these skins appear in Wardrobe Storage?[edit]
The Glorious armor skins are listed in the wardrobe, but the new variants apparently aren't. --175.141.46.116 13:02, 18 December 2016 (UTC)
