Why Water magic are chosen source for Life & Healing

In lore and spiritual concept Dwayna is the patron god of life - a female nature archetype filled with mercy and not revenge in first place which is a negative, evil energy used by dark arts. Dwayna is that kind of love that is a friend, caring for the poor and the most exposed - even tho they are simple and vulgar - idiots in knowledge, sensibility and time awareness. But everyone and every race could be followers of Dwayna or just as a spiritual prinscipe for secular or political diplomacy. This patron god gives power to heal from pain and wounds. But here is a problem I think not holds to what it once was in Guild Wars I. Now have the creators on Arenanet changed it for the Elementalist class, who now could assist as a party healer, and could replace the Guardian class. I did personally dislike the nature of Lyssa bound to the element of Water magic that now also is used by elementalists and a chosen magic form when they are focused on healing abilitys. So who said magic healing not is a blessing by Dwayna, who's element is Air?
