Unaffected By Grandmaster Trait[edit]
The Legendary Dwarf effect of Ancient Echo is unaffected by the grandmaster Retribution trait, Versed in Stone. The trait changes the damage mitigation effect of the Legendary Dwarf elite, Rite of the Great Dwarf, to reduce incoming condition damage, which is reflected in the skill tooltip, as well as the active status effect. Taking this trait has no effect on the tooltip for Ancient Echo or the active status effect for having used it while in Legendary Dwarf Stance. ~ A R A ~ (talk) 01:39, 16 May 2019 (UTC)
Out of Combat Energy Gain[edit]
Ancient Echo still can give energy as shown in the tooltip while not in combat, so long as it remains below the out of combat max of 50%. This is done by using a stance's upkeep skill (i.e. Impossible Odds) to drain the energy first, otherwise the normal energy regen replenishes back to 50% too quickly to notice. 172.222.50.55 00:21, 12 September 2021 (UTC)
Herald interaction with Ancient Echo is Impossible[edit]
Potentially doesn't make sense to reference Herald Trait Line abilities as Ancient Echo isn't available while using the Trait Line. Thoughts? --71.172.234.60 04:15, 15 November 2023 (UTC)
