Found a tweet (https://twitter.com/ahogseth/status/768093149252034561) from him that says he "modeled both Sentinel and Balthazar regalia for gw2", from 2016. Additionally, there's an artstation artist (https://www.artstation.com/artwork/G0LyN) who credits him as the "Senior Artist" who is now the "Character Art Lead" at Arenanet, as of 2017. His Twitter and LinkedIn list him as "Lead Character Artist", so that's probably the most correct and up to date term. On Wiki of Gold says that's mentioned in Ep 79 of Guild Chat, which covers All or Nothing, but he's not directly interviewed.
