Shouldn't this page say what character level you should be? I also should ask, is there a point to this pack? I mean doesn't everyone start with a 8 slot backpack? or is this in the place of one of the bags? Varuuth 05:39, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

AFAIK, there is no character level requirement for equipping bags of any sort. You start with a 20-slot backpack, and have 4 slots to equip bags (3 more bag slots can be purchased with gems). You get a 4-slot Leather Bag as a reward for the tutorial mission and can buy more of them from merchants. Crafted bags can have up to 20 slots. —Dr Ishmael 05:51, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

It does - the "Req. level" in the recipe box is referring to crafting level, since that box is describing the recipe, not the finished item (that's the item infobox in the top right). —Dr Ishmael 20:51, 22 July 2012 (UTC)

ok i'm starting to figure out how they want things to be crafted. if i go to the loom, and go to the discovery tab, then drag the 10 Stretched Rawhide Leather Squares over to the right side it says: 3 possible unknown recipes! Add more compatible ingredients. Required rating: 10 (with the number 10 in red) and below that the craft button is greyed out. I didn't realize you had to use the discovery window to even begin to try to find a recipe. I assumed you just went to the production window and what you saw is what you could make... but .. (on the basis that you need to use the discovery window..) what does that Red 10 mean? does that mean that my leatherworking skill should be level 10? In the top right corner of the Loom window it says Novice 7/100 (i assume that means i am just level 7 in my leatherworking) .. yes this is a lot of guessing and assuming.. any help is appreciated. Hm, it sounds like they did add a crafting level requirement for these 8-slot bags, then. They were level 0 in BWE1, but I haven't done any crafting since then so I wouldn't know. And yes, you do have to use discovery for most of the recipes - you'll automatically learn some recipes every 25 levels, but usually that's for refinement and crafting components. —Dr Ishmael 00:35, 23 July 2012 (UTC)
