- According to tests done in-game, a +10 Swim-Speed Infusion equals to +10% movement speed (underwater, not at the surface) when compared to 33% swiftness; swim speed is capped at roughly 40% while out of combat.
- Being an infusion, using this lowers the amount of available slots for agony infusions. However, as the last underwater fractal (Aquatic Ruins) occurs at scale 76, which requires only 107 Agony Resistance, there is sufficient room within other slots for this to have no consequence.
- This can be avoided by using an Account Swim-Speed Infusion instead, which applies +5 Agony Resistance.
- The amount needed for larger infusions is similar to agony infusions, where the next size up requires 2 of the size below it. The formula for the amount of +10 infusions needed for a +n Swim-Speed Infusion is 2^(n - 10).
- The amount of coin needed for each upgrade is slightly more complicated and based on tiers of 5. Each multiple of 5 acts as currency for the 5 above it.
- The total cost for the Swim-Speed Infusion +30 (the current largest) is 2^(30 - 10) = 1,048,576 Swim-Speed Infusion +10 and 24245 76
- The total cost for the Swim-Speed Infusion +20 (the first step up for the Account Swim-Speed Infusion) is 2^(20 - 10) = 1,024 Swim-Speed Infusion +10 and 49 46 48
