“Scott McGough is a thoroughly educated fellow (he's not saying he's smart, just that he's had a lot of schooling). Currently a Design Writer for ArenaNet working on Guild Wars 2, Scott has written over 10 Magic: the Gathering novels for Wizards of the Coast (including Chainer's Torment, the Legends II trilogy, and the Kamigawa trilogy), scores of online pieces for Xbox.com, dozens of short stories and plays, and a few limericks of dubious quality and questionable taste.

Scott McGough was a Narrative Designer and Editor for ArenaNet from October 2008 to February 2019. He was the Narrative Lead for Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire.
