Walkthrough[edit]
- The event can be triggered by speaking to the Receiving Attendant.
- When an Elonian NPC dies during any of the Maintain order to help the court reach rulings on the Vabbian dead event and the consecutive events with judges, a pop-up will appear in the middle of the screen calling for a funeral procession. This will happen upon the NPC's death regardless of whether the above events are ongoing, successful, or have failed. After that, the Receiving Attendant will display the usual event marker.
The event will then randomly spawn at one of two areas, with a map ping signalling the exact location of the spawn:
- On the hills to the norths of Necropolis Waypoint — (slightly northwest of Tihark Orchard — )
- Or the mountain south of Forum Highlands.
The Attendant can be found West of the waypoint in front of Embalmer Boran and is interactable during Necropolis events.

Dialogue[edit]
- During the event
- Mourner (1): Sweet Grandmother...
- Mourner (1): Your days of suffering have ended.
- Mourner (2): But now your journey has ended, and you will have what we all desire.
- Mourner (3): We will speak on your behalf and see that you are Awakened.
- Mourner (1): What would we do if Balthazar took the Necropolis?
- Mourner (1): So many of our finest dead would never be able to be Awakened!
- Mourner (2): All the more reason to get our dead to the court so they can join the fight.
- Mourner (1): The Necropolis is close. Our pilgrimage is almost at an end.
- Mourner (1): Soon our beloved dead will be judged and rise to bring honor to our family.
- Mourner (1): And honor to Palawa Joko.
- Mourner (1): Long may he reign.
- Mourner (2): Long may he reign.
- Mourner (3): Long may he reign.
- Mourner (4): Long may he reign.
- Mourner (1): Balthazar cannot win against an army of the Awakened.
- Mourner (1): And even if he were to defeat us, we'd simply rise to fight again.
- Mourner (2): But not if the Forged destroy our bodies before we can be raised!
- On enemy attacks
- Mourner (1): The Forged are here!
- Mourner (1): They fear the strength of the Awakened!
- Mourner (1): Do not let them destroy the casket!
- Mourner (1): Our lord's enemies approach!
- Mourner (2): They would strike down our dead before they are Awakened!
- Mourner (1): Protect the casket at all costs!
- Mourner (1): Balthazar's forces are incoming!
- Mourner (1): They know the power of our dead provide our forces!
- Mourner (1): Defend the casket! Let nothing touch it!
- After the event
- Mourner (1): Bless our dead, Lord Joko.
- Mourner (1): Long may he reign.
- Mourner (2): Long may he reign.
- Mourner (2): Watch over them on their final steps to Awakening.
- Mourner (1): Bless us, that the court may judge our dead fairly.
- Mourner (1): That our dearest departed be granted your eternal gift.
- Mourner (1): Guide them as they make one last journey.
- Mourner (2): Let your judges be wise and speak your benevolent will.
- Mourner (2): So our beloved are raised to serve you once more.
- Mourner (1): We offer the possessions of the dead to the fire.
- Mourner (1): We hope that with these offerings, their bodies will be spared the flame.
- Mourner (1): We offer an effigy of the dead to the flames.
- Mourner (1): Let their sins be burned away so that they may be reborn anew.
- Mourner (1): Let's just hope our dead aren't offended once they've been Awakened.
