Walkthrough

	Objective	Map	Notes
1	Mariner Landing: In a nook high along the western wall.		From Mariner Landing Waypoint head south to the thermal tube and look high along the wall to the south west.
2	Mariner Landing: In plain view near Sub Landing.
3	Mariner Landing: On the ceiling of a dark tunnel. Reef riders stand guard outside.		At sea level, look for a small tunnel on your right.
4	Mariner Landing: Atop a diagonal cliff face. Reef riders float nearby.		Past #3, keep going up the slope and drop down to the next level. Go past a large tree and it will be on the wall in a cave at the end.
5	Mariner Landing: Near a thermal tube, south of Sub Landing.
6	Western Boiling Sea: On the underside of Wind Rider Ledge.		Jump off the edge of Wind Rider Ledge and do a tight gliding turn to get to a small, dark ledge underneath. Grab the nearby Oakheart Essence before jumping, in case you miss it.
7	Western Boiling Sea: On the side of the foot of Wind Rider Ledge.		Head to the center and glide down. It is at the very edge of the water on the south side of the "foot". You will likely fall in trying to get it.
8	Western Boiling Sea: Just below the Mastery Insight.		Start from Ancient Hollow Waypoint, head west and south to the edge of the shelf overlooking the sea. Glide off from the edge and land on the edge of Seething Pillar, with the shard being on the edge of the sulfurous rock pool below the mastery insight.
9	Western Boiling Sea: Along a ledge northwest of Seething Pillar.		Start from Ancient Hollow Waypoint, head west and glide down to the shore. The ledge is at sea level. The shard is hidden behind some bushes in a small crevice.
10	Western Boiling Sea: On a stone outcropping east of Seething Pillar.		Start from Ancient Hollow Waypoint, head west and glide down to the outcrop located on the small island southeast of the Seething Pillar.
11	Eastern Boiling Sea: On an island northwest of Frothing Pedestal.		Head due south from Ancient Hollow Waypoint, jump off the edge and glide down to the island. The shard is amongst some acidic water.
12	Eastern Boiling Sea: On the ceiling of a cave along the northern wall.		Head southeast from Ancient Hollow Waypoint, jump off the edge and glide to the north. Keep descending until you see an Oakheart Essence. Land and grab an essence. Climb the short slope opposite the sea and then head east into a cave; the shard is up high in the cave.
13	Savage Rise: In a cave behind the Rolling Devil nest.		From Heathen's Hold, drop down to the level with the Druid's Grotto, then go south past the bristlebacks. The cave has vampire beasts in it. We must use Oakheart essence to get into the north portion of the cave above the vampire beasts.
14	Savage Rise: At the source of the waterfall at Peace Grounds.		Behind the waterfall at the top of the crevice directly above the pool of water.
15	Savage Rise: Underneath an outcropping north of Scout's Clearing.
16	Savage Rise: At the entrance to a ramp that leads to Scout's Clearing.
17	Savage Rise: Near the base of a massive rocky pillar, southwest of the Peace Grounds.		Jump off from Heathen's Hold and head to the eastern side of the pillar.
18	Savage Rise: A Cave in the ceiling below Heathen's Hold waypoint.		Jump off from Heathen's Hold and circle back. Use Oakheart Essence on roof of cavern and glide to ledge.
19	Savage Rise: In a cranny within the bristleback's nest.		Next to a standing rock formation, there's a tiny crack in the ground floor of a cliffside to the southwest - enter the tiny cave from here.
20	Wind Rider Ledge: In a ceiling cave below Rata Arcanum.		From Heathen's Hold Waypoint, head west across the northmost ridge of Titan's throat until you reach an Oakheart's essence. Jump off of Titan's Throat and glide down the hole below the cliff with the essence, facing the wall in the direction that the westernmost cliff of Titan's Throat is pointing. Once you glide below the wall and see blue plants, there is an updraft column that will carry you to a ledge leading into a small cave. The Firestone Shard is in the back of this small cave.
21	Wind Rider Ledge: Near the ceiling along the western wall.		Start from the Ancient Hollow Waypoint, grab an Oakheart Essence, and head southwest to the leyline. Pick the west-most leyline, glide up along the leyline into the mushroom cave, run straight through it and glide out the other side. Use Oakheart's Reach to get up to the ceiling where you can find another Oakheart Essence to the southwest. Glide around the corner to the left and keep heading south. This shard is suspended from a stalactite slightly to the southwest - land on the nearby ledge, run up the wall and glide back towards/beneath it to collect it. (If you don't have the leyline mastery, you can also get here by using the thermal tubes west of the Heathen's Hold Waypoint, then jumping beneath Rata Arcanum, making use of updrafts below if you need to collect one of the low-lying Oakheart Essences).
22	Wind Rider Ledge: On the northern side, in a ceiling crevasse.		Start from the Ancient Hollow Waypoint, grab an Oakheart Essence, and head southwest to the leyline. Pick the west-most leyline, glide up along the leyline into the mushroom cave, run straight through it and glide out the other side. Use Oakheart's Reach to get up to the ceiling where you can find another Oakheart Essence to the southwest. Glide around the corner to the left, then reach up the ceiling and go a short distance east. This shard is on a ledge near the top of the ceiling.
23	Wind Rider Ledge: High along the wall, southwest of Seething Pillar.		Start from the Ancient Hollow Waypoint, grab an Oakheart Essence, and head southwest to the leyline. Pick the west-most leyline, glide up along the leyline into the mushroom cave - this time head west across the cave. Glide west and slightly northwest, making use of Oakheart's Reach if you're losing too much altitude. There will be a ledge with another Oakheart's Essence sitting on it. You want to land on the ledge directly below, populated with grubs and bats. There is a large dividing spur of rock on this shelf. To the right of this spur is a short slope; the shard is hidden in an alcove about halfway up if you hug the wall opposite the spur. Alternatively, you can just head north from the updrafts beneath Rata Arcanum (useful if you're coming directly from shard #22 above), and glide down.
24	Wind Rider Ledge: Embedded high in a large palm tree.		Start from the Ancient Hollow Waypoint, grab an Oakheart Essence, and glide southwest and down to the Wind Rider Ledge. Use Oakheart's Reach to grapple up to a second Oakheart's Essence - the shard is half-way up the tree trunk of the tree beyond the second essence.
25	Wind Rider Ledge: In a cranny above the northern tip of the ledge.		Start from the Ancient Hollow Waypoint, optionally grab an Oakheart Essence, and head southwest to the leyline. Pick the west-most leyline, glide up along the leyline almost into the mushroom cave - then leave the leyline prior to the end (using it only to gain some height), and head west. Eventually you'll see a ledge below with a couple of Cave Bats on it and a Veteran Grub. The shard is at the back behind the Veteran Grub, on the left. (The Oakheart's Essence is purely to get out of the deadend after you've retrieved the shard.)
26	Ancient Hollow: Deep in a shallow cave southeast of the golem graveyard.		Go south from Golem Graveyard to an Oakheart's Essence. Turn east and enter the cave with spiders (essence not required).
27	Ancient Hollow: In a nook in a wall, north of a mushroom village.		Go north-east from the Ancient Hollow Waypoint and drop down. The shard is in a little hole in the back wall between the two mushrooms, east of the Oakheart's Essence
28	Ancient Hollow: Along a path that runs northeast toward a mushroom village.
29	Ancient Hollow: Toward the western edge of the land mass. Fireflies make their home nearby.
30	Titan's Throat: Underneath and to the east of the gate of fire.		From the lava river at the Gate of Fire point of interest, drop down from the eastern edge and glide eastward into a small cave underneath the rocks
31	Titan's Throat: On the northeastern side, just below the gate of fire.		From the lava river at the Gate of Fire point of interest, drop down from the western edge and glide westward toward the lower ledge
32	Titan's Throat: On the northeastern side, a little lower below the gate of fire.		From the lava river at the Gate of Fire point of interest, drop down from the western edge and glide westward toward the lowest ledge. This shard is under #31
33	Heathen's Hold: Below the lava river, on the west side.		In a cave, entered from west.
34	Heathen's Hold: High above Prisoner's Perch, near a Mastery Insight.		Contrarily to its description, #34 isn't near a Mastery Insight. It is situated south-west to the north-western thermal tube.
35	Heathen's Hold: Atop a plateau above Iota Vault.		Same plateau as #39.
36	Heathen's Hold: In a mercenary's bucket.
37	Heathen's Hold: Within a crevasse in Iota Vault.		In the section with Polar Bears, scale the rock along the west wall in the western cage. Explore the cave behind it for the shard.
38	Heathen's Hold: Above the entrance to Iota Vault.		Scale the cliff above the entrance to Iota Vault to the Oakheart's Essence. From there look north and scale the cliff for the shard.
39	Heathen's Hold: In the rocks on the wall north of Iota Vault.		Found in a crevice above the Iota Vault, behind a Veteran Vampire Beast Bloodsucker. Same plateau as #35.
40	Heathen's Hold: Under the grating.		Found under the grating of the lava wurm platform.
41	Heathen's Hold: Beneath a massive defense turret, on the east shore of the lava river.		At the base of the turret on the east side of the lava river that heads up to Titan's Throat.
42	Scalding Gorge: On a ledge high above, north of Sandstone Archway.		From the Mastery Insight jump unto the updraft to the east and glide to the west. It's on the second ledge from the top almost directly above the thermal tube.
43	Scalding Gorge: On a ledge high above, west by northwest of Sandstone Archway.		From the top of the Sandstone Archway, use Oakheart's Reach to get to the low end of the sandstone arch to the north. Use Oakheart's Reach on the ledge above you to get high enough to catch the updraft. At the top of the updraft, glide a little west of due north and look for a cave. Cave bats will likely spawn as you land.
44	Scalding Gorge: On a ledge high above, northwest of Sandstone Archway.		From the top of the Sandstone Archway, use Oakheart's Reach to get into the updraft above. Once in the updraft, glide north around the corner to a rock at the back of the cave. (After this rock you can use the bouncing mushroom to return back to the updraft)
45	Scalding Gorge: Atop a tall stone outcropping, southeast of Sandstone Archway.
46	Scalding Gorge: Hidden below Sandstone Archway, on the eastern side.		Inside a small cave hidden in the layers of rock at the arch's base. The entrance is right by an Oakheart's Essence
47	Scalding Gorge: On the underside of Sandstone Archway.
48	Scalding Gorge: In a slit in the rocks looking north from atop the northwestern arch.		From the Vista in Heathen's Hold head north west to the thermal tube. Find and grab the Oakheart's Essence on top of the sandstone arch that runs north and south. Use a charge of the essence to reach the top of the sandstone arch that runs diagonally NW/SE. From there, look north for an Unbound Magic sitting on the corner of a ledge. Use an essence to reach that ledge, and save a charge for the firestone shard all the way at the back of that cave.
49	Rata Arcanum: In a high nook, east of Seething Pillar.		Starting from the Oakheart's Essence southeast of Nu II Vault, climb directly up. Head north once at the top until you reach a wall, climb up to the ledge with a Veteran Vampire Beast Bloodsucker, then head northwest. The shard is on the back of a rock.
50	Rata Arcanum: Underneath a large firestone spire.		Start from the Nu II Vault. Head south, and slightly southeast until you round the corner to the right, and drop down to a first bouncing mushroom. Facing northwest there is the top of a second bouncing mushroom just about visible - drop down again, this shard is in the little trench with the second mushroom.
51	Rata Arcanum: In the upper area, atop a small spire.
52	Rata Arcanum: In a nook behind the Inquest's captive druid.		Hop on top of the tent directly west of Galebough and look in a cranny to the north.
53	Rata Arcanum: Overlooking the Inquest's portal.
54	Rata Arcanum: A crack in the ceiling in the caves behind Rata Arcanum.		Start from the Nu II Vault gate. Head west, pick up the Oakheart's Essence and find the nearby bouncing mushroom (or grapple) to climb upwards to the west (there should be a few orbs of magic to mark the way). Grapple upwards again through a narrow opening, and one final time to clamber up the slope. The firestone is at the back.
55	Rata Arcanum: On a rock wall, just outside the entrance to the Inquest Field Lab.
56	Rata Arcanum: In a nook near some soil in the caves behind Rata Arcanum.
57	Golemancer's Tomb: In a cave outside the tomb, high above Scout's Clearing.
58	Golemancer's Tomb: Embedded in the wall outside the tomb, high above Scout's Clearing.
59	Golemancer's Tomb: At the tip of a long, thin outcropping outside the southern entrance to the tomb.		At the tip of the rock behind Broadleaf.
60	Golemancer's Tomb: In a crack in the ceiling, in the room across from the champion devourer. Bring an Oakheart's essence.		Look for 2 orbs of Unbound Magic near the ceiling to help you find it.

Notes

• If you are mounted when you get near a Firestone Shard that is not directly on the ground (i.e. attached to a ceiling or wall), you will automatically pick it up.

Bug:

The hint for #34 is incorrect, as it is not near any mastery insight.
