Refreshing Mists are the checkpoints within the Skip up the Volcano jumping puzzle. There are five in total, and all of them must be visited in order to open the final chest at the end of the puzzle and receive credit for its achievement. Approaching one for the first time will cause a burst of blue light to appear around your character, and you will be granted an effect tracking your checkpoint progress (see below). Dying within the puzzle area will return you to the previously reached Mist.
