Outpost

Outpost is a type of a meta event in the zones of the Heart of Thorns expansion. Loosely similar in concept to renown hearts, outposts are chains of consecutive events that occur around their locations and serve as hubs for other standalone nearby events. Outpost events guide the players in exploring and accessing different areas of the map.
Map icons[edit]
Outpost icons on the map dynamically change as their event chains and the map meta event progress.
— Locked. Outpost chain events do not start during some phases of the map meta event.
— Event chain is in progress.
— Event chain has been completed once.
— Under attack.
