Mordakai was a warrior of Ascalon's Chosen that died in a battle against the Zealots of Shiverpeak, an Orrian guild, during the Third Guild War. He was Devona's father in life. He can now be found in The Mists' recreation of The Battle for Kyhlo.

The Herald of Balthazar, Devona's new identity after becoming Forged, named her hammer Mordakai in honor of her father. She also wrote letters to Mordakai, explaining her new purpose in Balthazar's service.
