Memory of Otter is a consumable found in event chests in northern Drizzlewood Coast after unlocking the Significant Otter achievement. When consumed, it grants progress towards the achievement, providing extra rewards as well as the ascended amulet with the cosmetic Otter's Blessing Enrichment upon completion.

Mechanics

Memories of Otter start dropping from Tribune's Chests and the Magnificent Chest in the northern Drizzlewood Coast meta event after the Significant Otter achievement is unlocked. They will continue dropping after the achievement has been completed — additional copies can be used to purchase extra Otter's Blessing Enrichments from Laurel Merchants.

Memories can only be used after unlocking the Significant Otter achievement, even though its possible to obtain them by salvaging Charged and Volcanic Stormcaller weapons before that. Consuming a Memory after completing the achievement will trigger a random animation even if a character doesn't have the enrichment equipped.

As of the current research a Tribune's Chest yields 1.2 Memories on average and the Magnificent Chest yields 6 Memories on average. This adds up to 12 Memories per full northern meta event, requiring ~27 meta runs to complete the Significant Otter achievement (320 Memories).
