Dialogue[edit]
- These dredge drive me crazy. You leave them alone and the next thing you know, they've built an entire city under your feet and are marching on your lodge.
- I see.
- During Bring foul-smelling underwater plants to Lunt
- These dredge need to go. I killed a few, but the rest are packed back in that cave. Get me some gladiolus plants from the water, and I'll use them to smoke out the dredge.
- Here. I have some plants. (If the player has Pungent Gladiolus Flowers)
- Oh yeah. That'll stink up just right on the fire. Thanks.
- You're welcome.
- How can plants hurt the dredge?
- Something in this cave makes the gladiolus especially vile and pungent. Maybe because they only grow underwater. Bring me some and I'll show you what I mean.
- Why can't you get the plants yourself?
- We're at a standoff. The dredge know what I'm planning, and this is the best spot to make a fire. If I leave, it's all over.
- What's your problem with the dredge?
- Those little mole men build underground cities all over the place. If we don't stop them, they'll take over the whole valley. Bah! I'd rather die than be surrounded by that mindless cult.
- Got it.
- Harvest your own weeds.
- I'll see what I can find
- Why can't you get your own plants? (same as "Why can't you get the plants yourself?" above)
- What have you got against the dredge? (same as "What's your problem with the dredge?" above)
- What's the catch?
- I cut through a pile of dredge to get this far, and the rest of the collective know we're here. And they're armed. We need to draw them out.
- Sounds like fun.
- Forget it.
- When merchant services are available
- These dredge drive me crazy. You leave them alone and the next thing you know, they've built an entire city under your feet and are marching on your lodge.
- What's in the bottle you've got there?
- It's that foul smoke from my fire. Nasty stuff, it makes a great weapon.
- Can I have one?
- Sounds dangerous. I'll pass.
- I see.
Trivia[edit]
