Dialogue[edit]
- We're all overwhelmed around here. All our resources are stretched thin while we struggle to find room for all these displaced people.
- Refugees of Balthazar's war campaign?
- Some are refugees of Forged and Zaishen attacks, some are exiles and defectors fleeing Elona, some are sheltering from the Branded, and some are our own citizens made homeless by the sandstorm.
- Aren't the Branded far to the north of here?
- They were, but the Elder Dragon Kralkatorrik moved not long ago, Branding more of the desert as it flew somewhere to the southeast. Since then, its minions changed course to follow their master.
- Who did you say the other displaced people were?
- Thanks for the information.
- Exiles and defectors from Elona?
- Some slipped past the Bone Wall around Palawa Joko's tyrannical kingdom, while some only escaped after they'd been exiled to his work farms. Either way, they come north seeking freedom.
- Who did you say the other displaced people were?
- Thanks for the information.
- You had a sandstorm here?
- Yes, one of the biggest in recent history. It buried our noble quarter. Until we can unearth their homes, those residents are having to live in tents like our refugee guests.
- Who did you say the other displaced people were?
- Thanks for the information.
- What was that about the Zaishen?
- Ever since their patron god showed up in person, the Zaishen have become insufferably sanctimonious and belligerent. They're insisting everyone fall into line behind Balthazar and his Forged army.
- Who did you say the other displaced people were?
- Thanks for the information.
- How are you Cavaliers holding up?
- Good luck.
- Where have you been putting them so far?
- Kormir's priesthood has helped us set up temporary housing—tents inside and outside our city walls. Captain Rahim says your people back in Lion's Arch sent us much-appreciated aid.
- That's good to hear. How are your Cavaliers holding up?
- I wish you the best of luck. Take care.
- Good luck.
