At the moment, we're discussing other races and how they differ from us. For example, the way other races have young who are—at first—completely dependent on adults, like animals.

Hard to imagine, isn't it?

Oh yes. I can't imagine being small and pink, and so completely dependent on another being. It's...terrifying.

Learning Circle? What's that?

We are mentored in the ways of the world from the moment we awaken. My circle is aligned with Dawn. We all awakened very close to one another. Our teacher is a firstborn and very wise.

Oh, no. We awaken fully grown. But, that doesn't mean we don't need guidance. The Pale Tree is our mother, the the firstborn are...what're the words...aunts and uncles. That's it.
