What's happened? Who is this betrayer?

Santach. Seducer of my soul's heart. He call's himself the Knight of Avarice now. He bewitched me to help him and used me to secure his place in the Court of Nightmares.

How did he bewitch you?

For months, he whispered his love for me. He made my blood rush like a raging river, and I have never before felt such devotion and faith.

And he abused your love?

To be initiated into the court, he had to seduce and use an innocent to deliver a new seedling to be corrupted. There's more, but I tremble to share it with anyone.

I promise to listen discreetly and without judgment.

You have a kindness about you. Very well. Santach told me he wished to meet one of the newest crop of seedlings.

Didn't you think to ask what he wanted?

I was swept away by my desire for him. I would have hunted the moon for him, had he but asked. When I brought one of the newly Awakened to him, he revealed his true nature.

What did he do?

He hit me so hard I fell into Dreamless sleep! When I woke, he and the seedling were gone. I can only imagine what he did to the poor innocent.
