Kraig the Bleak is a necromancer-for-hire. He was responsible for banishing Mendel's ghost into the Mists to prevent the ghost from revealing to Marjory Delaqua the identity of a minister who had been involved in the murder of a woman in a sacrificial ritual with dark magic in Divinity's Reach. When Marjory chased after the fleeing necromancer, she was stopped by the enigmatic spymaster E who revealed Kraig's name to her but also told her that she would probably not see him again and that there were bigger issues to worry about in Divinity's Reach than the necromancer.
