Dialogue[edit]
- It's a pleasure to see such a friendly face. What can Kol the Valiant do for you?
- How did you earn such a legendary name?
- One time, I was part of a caravan, guiding a merchant through a deep valley, when we were set upon by jotun.
- Go on.
- There were ten jotun for every one of us. We were outnumbered, but it was a tremendous, glorious battle. Every one of us who survived was bloodied by those giants.
- Did you get the merchant out safely?
- Aye. He was the first to call me valiant. Four of us left that valley alive, including the merchant and his cart.
- I have other questions to ask you.
- A legendary tale, indeed.
- Time to go. Bye.
- I have to go.
- Could I ask you some questions?
- A challenge! Go ahead.
- What is your weapon of choice?
- When I need to extend my reach in battle, I use a greatsword. Between you and me, though, nothing is as satisfying as using my bare hands. I love a good bar brawl to wind down my day.
- Spoken like a true warrior. Can I ask something else?
- Good hunting.
- Besides displaying valor in battle, what else do you do?
- Ah, I love to play the pipes. I've composed a number of melodies. If I grow too old for hunting, I shall be the best piper in Hoelbrak.
- I have another question.
- And on that note, I'll be going.
- I'm sure you have a fair number of battle scars.
- So many I've lost count. My woman loves scars. Every time I return from battle, she insists on examining any new ones.
- I have another question.
- Glad to hear it. Good-bye.
- I have to be going.
- Nothing. I really must be going.
Quotes[edit]
- Greets
- Ah, what a day to hunt. Or drink. Or to drink and hunt.
- Ah, feel that icy air. Smell those evergreens. It's good to be alive.
