Kill the megadestroyer before it blows everyone up is a level 66 group event in Mount Maelstrom. It is the final event of the meta event The Battle for Mount Maelstrom.

Walkthrough[edit]

Megadestroyer uses melee attacks and a ground stomp that drops lava rocks. It will crouch down for a couple seconds before jumping up and landing on the ground, causing lava rocks to fall down on players. The attack has a long preparation time and the rocks don't hit immediately, making the attack easy to evade. Once it reaches 75% health it will hide in the lava and summon three Veteran Destroyer Crabs around the pool of lava. Once they are defeated, it will return. At 50% health it will hide in the lava again, this time summoning three Veteran Destroyer Harpies. Two Destroyer Crablings will occasionally spawn near it during the fight.

Upon Megadestroyer's defeat, an Ancient Treasure will spawn.

Megadestroyer reemerges: Krewe Apprentice Liann: Ah! It's back! Get it!

Megadestroyer at 25% health: Krewe Apprentice Liann: It certainly seems upset now...
