It's not often that I see other living things way out here.

I like to explore the unexplorable.

Then you have reached the unreachable. I've been sent here to study the habits of these Risen farmers. Unfortunately, it's not for purely intellectual reasons.

What do you mean?

The Order of Whispers studies the techniques the Risen use in battle. So we use these Risen farmers almost like lab animals. We provoke them to attack, taking minimum risk while observing them.

Why the farmers?

While the Risen farmers can be just as vicious as the rest of the Risen, they are unarmed. They have only their farm tools to attack with. This makes them easier to defeat once engaged.

So there's no risk?

We have lost several Whispers agents to Risen farmers. They have only one objective - to kill the living. And a rake can kill you just as dead as any sword or gun.

Let's hope the days of observing the Risen are over soon.

What are you doing out here?

Just watching these Risen farmers. It's eerie how they go about their daily routines as if they hadn't spent the last 250 years at the bottom of the sea. For them, nothing has changed.

What do you mean?

They till the same earth even though it's now barren. The cows continue to graze, though there is no grass. And the Risen chickens still crow every sunrise to wake the others, although the farmers never sleep.

It's tragic.

It's a dangerous place to be alive.
