Jennivere Borden stands on the northern bridge in a vision of Old Lion's Arch leading to southern Gendarran Fields, waiting for her sister's family to reach the city after being evicted from their farm by pirates. She survived the attack on Lion's Arch and could be found in the camp in Gendarran Fields. After Lion's Arch was rebuilt, she disappeared.

- Excuse me, you're new to Lion's Arch. Have you by any hope seen a family—three children with one just newly born—on your travels?
- Not that I recall. Are they friends of yours?
- My sister and her family were run off their farm in the Gendarran Fields by marauding pirates. They held out as long as they could, but they just had a third child. They should have arrived days ago.
- When did you last hear from them?
- It's been two weeks. I received a letter saying they were heading south to Lion's Arch with a trader. But there have been caravans arriving every day, but none know anything of my sister.
- I could try to help if you could tell me where to look.
- Thank you, but I would have no idea. The truth is that I'm ready to give up hope. She would have sent word if she was just delayed somewhere. I think it's time for me to end this vigil.
- Ah, thank you for your kindness. I can't give up on family. I will pray to the Six gods to watch over them...and you as well.
- Thank you, and good luck.
If your sister is as strong as you, she will find a way to get to you.
- You're right. I can't give up on family. I'm the weak one. My sister is far stronger. She will find a way to get there. Thank you.
- I hope your faith in your family is rewarded.
I don't understand why you give up all hope so easily.
- It's probably for the best.
- That's rough. See you around.
- All you can do is watch and wait. Good-bye.
- I've seen many on the road, but no family like you describe. Good-bye.
