Jan Lutgardis is a Canthan flute maker, who is struggling to compete against the jade tech advancements with their family business. They have made contact with their ancestor Vasili Lutgardis in an effort to find a solution to their problems.

- During
Help Jan reconnect with their family's past by cleansing the site with Lutgardis music (80) - Oh, hello! Didn't see you there... I'm a little overwhelmed.
Why? What's going on?
- I was just told by ghosst of one of my ancestors that if I can somehow heal the land here, he'll help me find a magic flute that can save my family business...
- Which is?
- We have an instrument shop in New Kaineng. A few of my ancestors started it after our house, House Lutgardis, was conquered. It's always done well enough for us to live comfortably.
- But?
- But now everyone wants these fancy new jade tech instruments. Business has plummeted. I'm hoping maybe if I can find this magic flute, it'll save us. But Vasili can't help 'til I get rid of this magic.
- How are you going to do that?
- Well, Vasili said the ghost of my ancestors can teach me cleansing magic, which I can play on these regular old flutes I made.
- What kind of things need cleansing?
- From what I can see, basically everything. Whatever the magic is...it seems to have affected plants, animals, water, and even the remains of the buildings- they were made from petrified trees, though.
