Dialogue[edit]
- My mate and I are happy to share tales with welcome company.
- You two are mates?
- Surprised? We followed the feelings our legends put before us. I am very glad we did.
- How did you two meet?
- By whim and chance. A mail bird and many meetings later, I finally asked for a serious relationship. Neither of us will forget my, well, wanting eloquence that day.
- Where you really that nervous?
- I have to go.
- So, what will you two do now?
- Continue on. We will share time, love, and enjoyment when we can and see to our duties and guild. There is still much to fight for, and we have the skills to lend.
- Your guild?
- The Legion of Honor, a loose group of all types. We help others wherever we might. Informal, but successful over the years.
- Good to know you aren't retiring yet. Let's talk about something else.
- Maybe I will see you out there.
- (If asura)
- How have you two resolved differences in your conception of the world?
- Sera chose to embrace the Spirits. But even had she not, the feelings we share are more potent than such differences.
- I have another question.
- (If charr)
- So, does she have you bowing down to her gods yet?
- No need. Sera reveres the Spirits, which is as she wishes. As for gods, I have in battle felt Death, but I would not bow to him.
- I have another question.
- (If human)
- What about the gods? Have you two come to an agreement you can share?
- Sera chose to embrace the Spirits on her own, something I would have never asked of her. She takes after Raven in many ways. Always has.
- I have another question.
- (If norn)
- What of the spirits? Have you agreed on what to follow?
- Sera chose to embrace the Spirits on her own, something I would not have asked of her. She takes after Raven in many ways. Always has.
- I have another question.
- (If sylvari)
- Humans and norn have different views on the divine. Has that caused any tension?
- Not for us. Sera decided to revere the Spirits and embrace life here in Hoelbrak. But, I would love her just as strongly if she had not.
- I have another question.
- I have to go.
- Tales? You look like you have at least a few to tell.
- Most are best told with a full keg and an evening to spare, like curing Sera's illness or our part in the Siege of Lion's Arch or...there are many more.
- Sera was ill? What happened?
- It was a strange poison to which medicine was ineffective. Only under a blind shaman's guidance were we able to take a journey of spirit and beat the illness.
- Quite a journey. I'd like to hear another tale.
- My mate and I are happy to share tales with welcome company.
- You two are mates?
- Tales? You look like you have at least a few to tell.
- It's time for me to go.
- Good-bye.
- I must go now.
- You both were there during the Battle for Lion's Arch?
- Sera, stubborn as a dolyak, helped citizens escape until she could not. With friends and guildmates behind me, we launched a rescue mission to get her out.
- You must have been worried.
- I was Bear's rage incarnate. I would have fought day and night until I fell had friends not pulled me back for rest. It turns out even I require food and water.
- I have another question.
- Speaking of, I need to go find something to eat.
- Those were awful times. How were things after the battle ended?
- We were both shaken. I found solace in speaking at a memorial and pressing on with my duties. We supported each other to get to a better place.
- Many had to afterward. I'd like to ask another question.
- I think many had to. Thank you for sharing.
- I have to go.
- Interesting tales. But I want to talk about something else.
- Good-bye.
- It's time for me to go.
- Travel well, and Wolf watch your steps.
- Good-bye.
- Good-bye.
