A few little consistencies

I'd like to suggest that the NPCs and Objects/environmental weapons sections are kept the same as area formatting. This is already mostly the case. Manifold 16:53, 26 July 2013 (UTC)

Yes! That is exactly the kind of information I was going to look for! I take it the Location Formatting is already a vetted consensus on the Wiki? I actually used Welcome Home (which uses your linked formatting) to post the current example. I can think of no problems with this project using the same formatting for the NPC section, so it certainly has my vote, especially if it's already consensus. The full list of formatting guidelines can be found here. This project would presumably eventually result in the creation of a personal storyline page. I don't know if "vetted consensus" is exactly the right way to describe it, a lot of people kinda just add stuff however they want, and discussions on how to format things often trail off without a consensus. Source of Orr dialogues

Stumbled on this project thanks to Alex's edits yesterday, noticed [ this change] and looked through it. I altered The Source of Orr as okay, as there is a verification tag for Elli's dialogue. But I think there's other things: Fero and Barron have two dialogues for when 1st meeting them (C6 as Priory or C8), while Gorr has three alt dialogues also for when first meeting him (C3 as asura, C6 as Whispers, or C8 for everyone else). As such, I think that Carys, Ballista, Mangonel, Galina, and Snarl likely have (more) alternate dialogues.

• Carys can be met a total of four times: as sylvari in C2, as Priory in C6, then twice in C8. Current dialogue is likely only for the last time we could meet her, given context, though I suspect trapping the Eye (first meeting) is irrelevant to her dialogue.
• Ballista and Mangonel can both be met as a norn with Blacked Out C2 storyline.
• Galina and Snarl can both be met as Iron Legion charr in C1, as Vigil in C6, and then mandatory for fighting the Mouth. Current dialogue doesn't include any recognition of being an Iron charr, so worth checking.
• Elli's verification is if you get that line if you met her as a sylvari in C3 by doing Trouble at the Roots - we know you get it if you're a dynamics asura.

Ouch - Source of Orr is the penultimate mission so that's a lot of personal story to slog through to check something that may or may not be right. However I agree that your suggested previous encounters seem probable. Add the section-stub tags by all means, otherwise we'll walk straight past the sections all over again. -Chieftain Alex 22:21, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

Apparently in edit there's a bunch of hidden tags via <!----> for those very things I mentioned it seems (sans Carys). As well as a request check for Laranthir as Vigil. So by the looks of it, Source of Orr needs 4 run throughs:

• One as Act with Wisdom sylvari who takes Vigil's invasion plan
• Other sylvari who takes Whisper's invasion plan (for Elli)
• One as Blacked Out norn who takes Vigil's invasion plan (should run Priory for Cary's second)
• One as Iron Legion charr (should run Vigil and Priory's Invasion Plan for Laranthir's)

Not too bad, especially since Iron Legion, Act With Wisdom, and Blacked Out need run throughs anyways. Konig 22:45, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

Is there somewhere where it's listed which story chapters are already being run/will be run? I will potentially have a character running from 0-80 for the fun of it, and am willing to slow down heavily to document stuff. That sounds like a good idea as to something to list. I've just hit the last mission I can contribute with on my human whispers suffer thief (chapter 7), so I'll be rerolling tomorrow with one of the others on the "other" account. -Chieftain Alex 23:35, 2 June 2016 (UTC)

Ok, when I have time (probably 2-3 weeks from now) I might role a new toon depending on what seems to be done the most. I don't have access to 'free lvl 80s', but I do have... 4 (5?) stacks of tomes of knowledge, so level 80s are easy to come by :p. -Darqam (talk) 00:28, 3 June 2016 (UTC)

A Request

I know this is primarily for collecting dialogue, but I have a request. I've made a list(that can be found here) of all Personal Story characters that currently do not have a picture, so while you guys are getting the dialogue, can you get their picture too? - Do_odleplex 20:25, 8 June 2016 (UTC)
