Since I was given a copy of it by Andromeda on the API gitter I thought I'd share it, as its a working alternative to gw2navi/timer:

• Link to the useful bit: LINK 1 https://drive.google.com/open?id=0B3EhwwSqZIERMXlOenpBV2ltNXM - download the folder.
• After you've opened GW2, Run the "GW2 Mumble Link Reader.exe" file. It will load some data from the official gw2 maps API first (this takes a few seconds), then if you're logged in on a character, it'll display their name and position.
• The continent position coordinates we're interested in are the X and Y coordinates, which are located where I've sketched on the red boxes. The Z axis isn't used by our maps project, but it's located between the X+Y boxes.

I had a play with the source files today and whittled it down to the bare basics of what we need. LINK 2 new link - grab both files and keep them in the same folder as each other. -Chieftain Alex 21:23, 4 December 2017 (UTC)

Thanks a lot for this. I was adding the coordinates for most of the Jahai Bluff PoIs yesterday and using GW2Navi was kind of annoying/just to much interface. Almost ended up writing my own small program for grabbing the coordinates, thanks to you I don't have to. Are you willing/able to make the source code available for me to learn/see how you grabbed the coords with the MumbleLink API? --Almdudler (talk) 18:56, 30 September 2018‎ (UTC)
