Base maps for dungeons[edit]
So I've now finished the locator maps. To create the full dungeon map (poi, anvils, waypoints, entrance markers + location names) I'd ideally require some PNG (any lossless format tbh) images of the entire dungeon, after it has been explored and unfogged - which, you guessed it, means quite a bit of work. For that I need one of the following:
- a) some kind person to go through the dungeon paths and, when they're done, take screenshots of the maps (to remove breadcrumbs, could log out with a party member still inside, then back in?), or,
- b) some kind of uMod that removes fog, or,
- c) use the jpg tiles from the API and icons (this result will be much lower resolution).

Attempt 2[edit]
Area maps still haven't been done for 7 out of the 8 dungeons - I'd like to get this project finished though so I've tried out a hacky method on File:Sorrow's Embrace map.jpg as follows:
- Use the API basemap for size - this is because i'm lazy and I did the sectors years ago.
- Take an ingame screenshot of the dungeon (slightly foggy) - isolate the labels by using layer mask, then "Colour to alpha" on the remaining stuff. Delete obvious gray bits. Then duplicate layer, paint on the shadow, and put beneath the labels. Then transplant them onto the API map.

Blank Maps[edit]
Could we also get a blank maps without any marked path so we could always have a base for changes ? --DiegoDeLaHouska (talk) 09:36, 14 February 2022 (UTC)

- Do you want "completely blank" (as in just the API tiles), or "blank PLUS white sector borders"? -Chieftain Alex 20:56, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
- I want to change the path of File:Twilight Arbor map (Aetherpath).jpg. But that image isnt branch or root level. It's both of them combinated together. So a normal map with both levels with zone borders, names maybe way points as well. Just so I could correct the path at the end. --DiegoDeLaHouska (talk) 23:51, 15 February 2022 (UTC)
