Find and stabilize condensed magic is a dynamic event in Droknar's Light, which starts at the Point of interest (map icon).png Monument to King Jalis Ironhammer — .

  • Grab a magic stabilizing kit from Surveyor Brigg to find and stabilize ambient magic around Droknar's Light.
  • Time limit: 8:00

Walkthrough[edit]

Pick up a Magic Stabilizing Kit just next to the Point of interest (map icon).png Monument to King Jalis Ironhammer — , which allows you to use the special action key  Equip Mine Defusing Kit.png Equip Magic Stabilizing Kit to equip or unequip the bundle with the following skills:

# Skill Activation time Recharge time Description
1  Activate... (blue).png Harness Magic 0.5½ Stabilize the condensed magic before it becomes lethal.
2  Activate... (red).png Suppress Magic 0.5½ Suppress the condensed magic before it becomes lethal.
3  Activate... (yellow).png Expel Magic 0.5½ Expel condensed magic before it becomes lethal.
4  Search.png Magic Sweep 4 Search the area for condensed magic. If magic is located, you'll have a chance to stabilize it.

The first three skills will be  Skill.png Locked until you use  Search.png Magic Sweep to detect nearby Condensed Magic and interact with it to stabilize it. Disarming an orb uses the same mini-game as for the Renown Heart Help Tariq weaken the garrison in The Desolation. Within 5 seconds before the effect Aquatic Ruins Chest Disabled.png Time Running Out expires 3 symbols will appear in the same order as the 3 skills with the corresponding symbol. The same symbol can appear several times in the same sequence and consecutively.

Surveyor Brigg: Something has destabilized the magic in the area, and it's going to be bad news for everyone if we don't fix it.
Surveyor Brigg: Grab one of those kits if you want to make a difference.
During the event
Surveyor Brigg: None of us will want to be here if the magic gets too unstable, so let's work quickly.
Surveyor Brigg: Time is a bit of a factor here, so if we could pick up the pace...
Upon stablizing an orb of condensed magic
Surveyor Brigg: We might just keep this island in one piece after all.
Surveyor Brigg: This is going better than I thought!
When magic explodes (if failing to repeat the pattern)
Surveyor Brigg: Hey, be careful! This is dangerous stuff we're dealing with!
Surveyor Brigg: Whoa, careful there. You really don't want that magic any less stable!
Event success
Surveyor Brigg: Here I was preparing my last will and testament, and you've just gone and saved the day.
Surveyor Brigg: You're all right, you know that? I owe you one.
Event failure
Surveyor Brigg: I... don't think it's safe to be here anymore.
Surveyor Brigg: I'm going to retreat to stable ground. If you value your life, you'll do the same.
