Fallen Soldiers are Ascalonian who have fallen in battle against the centaurs and now haunt the ruins north of Ascalon Settlement. They are filled with hate for their killers and can be persuaded to continue the fight, even after death.

A centaur warbeast, a great drooling monster, trampled my squad, then tore them limb from limb with its teeth. Oh, the blood.

My memory is fuzzy, but I remember being out on patrol. My buddy was dead. I found his body. When I approached, centaurs ambushed me.

They came out of nowhere. I didn't know centaurs could move so quietly. Before I knew what hit me, I was on my face in the mud.

Notes

• Can randomly be male or female.
• Groups of Fallen Soldiers can spawn at times.
• Only shows at night, but not every night.
• When encouraged by the player, the Fallen Soldier will run off around the field to the North East before coming all the way back to enter the building door where the Vista is located.
• Can be targeted and attacked by the local Centaurs along the way.
• Although their dialog indicates particular animosity towards centaurs, it is worth noting Captain Greywind once leader of the Ascalon Settlement talks against both the Lionguard and White Mantle, during his life he also battled Titans around this area, making it not entirely clear who or what might have felled this ghost.
