Dialogue[edit]

Divinity's Reach[edit]

Eastern Commons and Plaza of Kormir (west)
(If sylvari)
Oh, these humans! They're so changeable, like the seasons, but daily. Have you noticed how they change their clothes and even the foliage on their heads.[sic] Fascinating!
Talk end option tango.png I know what you mean.
(If human)
Your city is so grand! And you made it all yourselves. It's nice that you left room for a few trees and other plants, but how do you walk on these hard stones all day long?
Talk end option tango.png You get used to it.
(If asura, charr or norn)
This city is so grand! Humans really are quite industrious, aren't they. Does your race create such magnificent structures as well?
Talk end option tango.png Ours are even bigger and better.
Plaza of Kormir (east)
The Ventari Tablet is very important to the sylvari, but it is the words upon it that shape its meaning. How is it, then, that these scholars contemplate mere images? I must think on this further.
Talk more option tango.png Tell me more about the Ventari Tablet.
The Ventari Tablet lies amid the roots of the Pale Tree. It was the first thing I saw when I awoke, and I will never forget the feeling I had when I read its words. Visit the Grove, and you can read it as well.
Talk end option tango.png Good-bye.
Talk end option tango.png Good luck.

Siren's Landing[edit]

Aboard The Buoyant Bough
Don't mind me. I'm trying to take in space as a whole.
Talk more option tango.png Are you okay? You seem to be wandering aimlessly.
Or maybe my aim is to wander. For not all who wander are lost.
Talk end option tango.png Each to their own.
Talk end option tango.png Your wish is my exit.
Lyssa's Reliquary
So glad you interrupted me. I was lost in a vision of Orr rising. The land peacefully settled on the sea bottom, until the dragon's stirring breaks apart clods of soil, disturbs the corpses...
Talk more option tango.png That's graphic.
And then, the waters thrust aside, the tidal wave! Undead tumbling through dirt-clouded waters. I see it so clearly in my mind's eye.
Talk end option tango.png I wouldn't look too closely if I were you.
Talk end option tango.png I need to go. Good day to you.
Do you know the story of how Orr was sunk below the sea? It's full of drama. The charr were attacking, and someone thought it a good idea to destroy the kingdom rather than turn it over to invaders.
Talk more option tango.png Wasn't the only time something like that happened.
No. Ascalon. I've never been threatened by a charr army. How terrifying it must be.
(If charr)
Talk end option tango.png You better believe it.
(Otherwise)
Talk end option tango.png To inspire such drastic measures, yes.
Talk end option tango.png I need to go. Good day to you.
Risen Lowlands
I was just wondering what these poor Risen must be thinking. Do you imagine they know they've lost their master and are now unchained?
Talk more option tango.png I don't think they know much at all.
I feel the loss of Mordremoth—relief more than anything. The urge, the voice...gone now. I'm free like before—unchained. It's beautiful, and I wish it for them.
Talk more option tango.png If they're aware, then they surely wish for death.
It must be awful, trapped in your own rotting corpse, no satisfaction or rest. Their final release is perhaps the only kind thing left to give them.
Talk end option tango.png I need to go. Good day to you.

Trivia[edit]

  • The quote "Not All Who Wander Are Lost" from the sylvari explorer aboard The Buoyant Bough may be referencing a poem by J.R.R. Tolkien called All that is gold does not glitter.
