It's my wolf, Shastar. I can't catch her! She's good at staying just out of reach.

Why not just let her run off?

I couldn't! It's dangerous to be out here alone. Just the other day, a bunch of trolls broke into my home and stole a number of my possessions!

If it's so dangerous, why do you live here?

Before the weather turned foul, there was no better place for hunting. The forest provided plenty of food for game.

Now the land is frozen in winter's icy grip. There's little foraging to be had. You know, maybe I should relocate. As soon as I catch my wolf, that is.
