Chest train

A "chest train" refers to a large number of players participating in a train to farm Lost Bandit Chests together in The Silverwastes, usually led by an experienced Commander (or a Mentor). Such a train requires many participants to pitch in and contribute Silverwastes Shovels to uncover Lost Bandit Chests, which everyone nearby can open with their Bandit Skeleton Keys.
Mechanics
- Lost Bandit Chests have fixed spawn locations (though not all of them spawn at once). A chest location can be easily determined by a small sand mound on the ground. Therefore, an experienced leader who can remember their spawn locations will be able to lead a large group of players around the map, looking for those mounds.. The leader is usually one who is a Commander or Mentor, so that players following can easily tail along by looking at the icon (or tag) above the leader's character and on the map.
- When the leader finds a mound, they will stop moving and stand on it, effectively marking the location. Players with shovels (also known as shovelers or diggers) will dig at the ground, revealing the Lost Bandit Chest. Other players can then open it to reap the contents. When this is done, the leader continues to look for the next mound location.
Bandit Skeleton Keys
- Used to open Lost Bandit Chests.
- These can be easily purchased from Priory Historian (Bandit Crest Collector) in Camp Resolve for 5 Bandit Crests each. To obtain Bandit Crests, participate in any dynamic events in The Silverwastes.
Silverwastes Shovels
- Used to uncover Lost Bandit Chests so they can be opened with Bandit Skeleton Keys. Hidden Lost Bandit Chests can be spotted by finding a sand mound on the ground, where the shovel should be used at.
- Silverwastes Shovels are available as semi-rare rewards from completing any dynamic event in The Silverwastes. They also drop from almost any mob in The Silverwastes.
