Category talk:Icon templates

I was thinking of adding a template for the WvW event icons since they are different from the regular event icons. Particularly the symbols of the tower, supply camp, and the keeps. If you guys disagree with me, then please feel free to delete the new pages. --Strongbeard 15:14, 19 December 2012 (UTC)

PvP map icons

Could we get a template for the icons used in PvP maps? Red and blue base, trebuchet, Svanir/Chieftain, the unique capture point icons, etc? Would be useful for the pvp map articles. -- Nineaxis (talk) 17:57, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

The icons used in spvp maps are not part of that template. Look at File:Forest_of_Niflhel_map.jpg for example, none of those icons are in the template. -- Nineaxis (talk) 18:14, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Uploaded some icons, will probably work it into map icon. All the icons are 128x128 around 102548-102590 for the rest of the sPvP icons. The NPC icons aren't in the series though.--Relyk ~ talk < 18:39, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

Map icons are all 32x32. The 128x128 textures aren't the ones used on the map, and since the wiki usage is always going to be small sizes, I'd suggest replacing those with the 32x32 icons. —Dr Ishmael 18:48, 15 June 2013 (UTC)

I'm not sure how to extract the icons. Is there a simple guide on it somewhere? I'd like to get the icons for the rest of the maps uploaded and into the template. -- Nineaxis (talk) 01:41, 16 June 2013 (UTC)
