Canthan Spirit Retainers are Canthan ghosts found in ruined locations in New Kaineng City and The Echovald Wilds.

- Inherits the skills of the weapon owner.
- Transforms into an Elite Canthan Spirit Retainer upon picking up a weapon from a defeated ally of elite rank.
- Remains as a Canthan Spirit Retainer upon picking up a weapon from a defeated ally of veteran or normal rank.
- Skills from no equipped weapon
- Knife Throw - Throw a knife.
- Skills from Canthan Spirit Archer or Purist Spirit Archer (bow)
- Furious Barrage - Fires a volley of 13 shots.
- Wrathful Shot - Fires a single shot.
- Skills from Canthan Spirit Swordsman or Purist Spirit Swordsman (sword)
