Accompany Rakkan as he tests Merla's undead camouflage potion is a level 80 event that occurs in Winterknell Shore within Cursed Shore, beginning at Cachistic R&D and ending near Seachange Tidepools. This event fails if Rakkan is killed, but Risen creatures will not attack him while it is in progress.

Before event starts: Scholar Merla: "Here goes nothing. Wow, whew, that's ripe!"; Rakkan: "Ugh. What is on me? Bad, smells bad!"; Scholar Merla: "Ah, don't be so dramatic. This could be a great breakthrough! Now off you go for a test run."; Rakkan: "Test how? Run where? What does bad smell do?"; Scholar Merla: "You're hidden from undead creatures now, at least the nonsentient[sic] ones. Try it out on those undead drakes up the coast."

Event starts: Scholar Merla: "The compound is hydrophilic—I mean, ug—stay dry, okay? That smell will wash off in water. Now go, and report back quickly."

Before leaving Cachistic R&D: Scholar Merla: "Risen incoming! They must have smelled Rakkan and thought he was one of their own. We need to get him out of camp, now!"

Risen killed: Scholar Merla: "Quickly now, get to those drakes before they try that again!"

Outside Cachistic R&D: Rakkan: "Not safe. Stink no good on elementals. Nowhere to hide. Brave, brave. Be brave."

If Tar Elementals kill Rakkan: (event fails); Rakkan: Too many elementals. Must run and wait. Yes.

Halfway to end point: Rakkan: "Merla does good. Stinky test important. Trust, trust stinky to fool undeads. Almost there, yes."

Event completed: Rakkan: "Yes. Yes. Made it. Now, to test."; Rakkan: "Oh...Need to walk by undeads to test. Ugh."; Rakkan: "I don't like testing."
