Kalla Scorchrazor
“All are equal when measured under the blade.
Kalla Scorchrazor (1079–1116 AE), grandcub of Pyre Fierceshot, led the rebellion against the Flame Legion and their domination of the other legions. Herself a member of the Razor warband of the Blood Legion, Kalla gathered allies from all three legions, and trained female soldiers in secret to become a formidable force. Her rebellion turned the tide in the final battle with the shaman caste on the Plains of Golghein in 1116 AE.[1][2]
After the Flame Legion's surrender, Kalla fell victim to an ignoble act of treachery. The Imperator of the Flame Legion was so shamed by his defeat that, despite offering his surrender, he stabbed Kalla with a poisoned dagger. Kalla died mouthing the words, "At least I die knowing my sisters are free".[3]
Kalla's great sacrifice continues to inspire soldiers of the Ash, Blood and Iron Legion in the present day. The all-female Scorch Warband carries on the fight against the Flame Legion in Ascalon, calling themselves Kalla's Killers in the charr heroine's honor. Gorea Halfcut and other renegades, specialized revenants, invoke Kalla via the Legendary Renegade Stance in their fight against threats to Tyria.

Trivia[edit]
- Kalla's story is similar to that of Otrera, the queen of the Amazons in Greek mythology. The women in her original hometown were treated like slaves, so, similar to Kalla, Otrera secretly trained an army of women. They overthrew the men and founded the Amazon nation.
- Despite her warband being an 'all female' warband, one member was Visk Icerazor, a male charr.
