Chris Burgess was a Senior Sound Designer at ArenaNet since Guild Wars 2: Path of Fire, and the Music Director for The Icebrood Saga.[1] He has a bachelor's degree in Electronic Production and Design from Berklee College of Music.

  • Music Supervision
    • Created the musical style guide based on conversations and requests from Narrative and Design to determine what the music would need to support for the release. This typically involved discussing and establishing the relevant themes, characters, locations, and tone of the release.
    • Created standards and practices for naming convention, loudness standard, stem categories, and internal repository structures.
    • Scoped minutes of music and implementation considerations needed to support the release.
    • Established production/milestone calendar for composer deliverables.
    • Facilitated all composer materials (documentation, video reference, etc) and composer deliverables.
    • Music editing to generate additional shippable content with delivered stems.
  • SFX outsourcing manager
    • Leveraged QA to get in game captures of outsourced asset.
    • Established production/milestone calendar for vendor deliverables.
    • Facilitated all vendor materials (documentation, video reference, etc) and composer deliverables.
